My Story
I've always been a creative person.
I've always been a creative person and entrepreneur in heart and mind. Music, performing, business, art..... all of it has been woven through my life for as long as I can remember. I was the opening act for Chubby Checker and the Supremes at age 12 (before they became famous!). I earned a business and computer science degree. I built multiple businesses from scratch.
But somewhere along the way, life got loud. Health challenges. Difficult seasons. A long stretch where my creative fire burned low. I lost what I now call my soul voice..... the voice that tells you who you are and why you're here.
Then came the awakening. And everything changed.
The comeback that changed everything.
A ruptured colon. Sepsis. A three-day coma. Seven weeks in the ICU. Three months in the hospital. Then rehab, where I was told I might not walk again for a long time.
I graduated four weeks early. Because I refused to accept that I would not walk.
That stubborn, soul-driven refusal? That's who I am. And coming home to Randy, to my cats, to my creative space..... that's when I knew with absolute certainty what I was here to do. My husband Randy builds and creates alongside me every day (he's sooo handy! LOL), and together we pour love into every single thing that comes out of this studio.
The awakening that brought it all together.
The spiritual awakening that followed my health crisis wasn't frightening..... it felt like coming home. Archangels. Ascended Masters. Sacred geometry arriving in my dreams as beautiful circular mandalas I was called to create. A deep knowing that I was here as a messenger, a guide, a creative soul with something real to offer.
I also came to understand that feeling of not quite belonging here..... that quiet homesickness for a place you can't name. If you've felt that too, I want you to know: you are not alone. It's a sign of awakening, not a problem to solve.
I lost my soul voice for a season. I got it back. And now I'm here to help you find yours.
Two Healing Animals. Two Beautiful Stories.
Some of the most profound healing in my life didn't come from medicine or therapy..... it came from a purring cat and a cockatoo who flew across a crowded room just to find me.
Sedona 🐾
Every day when I came home from rehab, Sedona was waiting. He would climb onto my stomach and my heart and just..... purr. Steady and deep, like he knew exactly where the healing needed to happen. I believe he did. Cats know things we don't. And Sedona knew I needed him right over my heart.
Angel 🦜
The night before a large bird show, my mother visited me in a dream with one message: I am sending you an angel. At the show, a Moluccan Cockatoo flew fifty feet across a crowded auditorium and landed on my chest, wings wrapped around me like a hug. It took two hours to remove her. She chose me. My mother kept her promise.
What I Believe
True artistry comes from within — not from technical perfection. You don't have to be Van Gogh. You have to be you.
Awakening is not a crisis. It's a calling. And you are exactly where you are meant to be.
Your creativity is a legitimate business. It deserves the same respect as any other form of enterprise.
Animals have souls. And a business that is truly soul-based must serve all living beings — not just the human ones.
Never give your power to anyone else. You are enough. Dream big. Just be.
